JJ - pictures say more than words.

CJ - 5 minutes and it was all over! The Isle of Wight affects our weather in odd ways here.

Sirreene - yes please there are one or two stubborn flakes that won't go away. UPS will be fine thanks!!

I agree with that PV. You know me I love pictures. And what a lovely way to express yourself.
I see you,
JJ
PS: More picture please!

A wonderful gift, eh? Did you have a chance to enjoy a few flakes in a fun way? I hope so.
:)
Thanks for the photo.

Neetee - pretty but temporary. I hardly had time to fire up the camera, point it first out of the front door then out of the back and all the fuss was over! :)

How lucky. If only it snowed in my land. Will I be glad to give anything up to watch that elusive snowlake flutter down cheerfully? Oh hell I definitely would.

Loved the photos, virgo; especially the ones with snow. The two times we visited England it was like Southern California weather. As soon as we left, it went cold again. Everyone said we took the warmth away. Both times. I'd love to see English snow.

Individualist - grass is always greener (or whiter?)

Boulies - always take the weather with you. I could use some Californian sun now. It is cold and wet and looking grim for the weekend.

Finn - "frisky" passwords will get you in! Snow is pure and white and cripples cities, turning the clock back 50 years to a slower friendlier pace. I like it when being housebound is actually a benefit. Your mountainous drifts are way beyond our small icy puddles :(

Countless people still believe it never snows in Italy...

Anna - Italy is both hot and cold I know. Having holidayed not too far away in the Rhone Alpes area, I can confirm the intense heat there contrasts with the bitter cold.

Indeed; more and more so each year, actually.

SilvermOOn - I have even experienced snow here in April/May, although thankfully that is a rarity. This little flurry huffed and puffed then blew away in a few moments. Nothing settled.

I knew you'd look at the WV, boy can I relate to that dim light bulb losing watej. Great how we share similar slang although one unusual word can throw all others into doubt. COOL!
