Walk the walk






These are more of the medieval sights taken in on my lunchtime perambulation. Next up will be some views that prove I don't live in a time capsule!

Some of these buildings are up to 800 years old and are surrounded by modern architecture. I tried to crop the new out of these shots. Look out for other views next week.

ok I will do.....this is one of my favourite things about the UK, the structures,even the new ones. I was breathtaken by the buildings in Birmingham, right near the Palisades, ever been? I didn't think buildings could be made to that extreme. I wish there were words to explain what i think of them but all I have is a feeling inside of me...no words

I've been to Birmingham but not to the Palisades. A lot of places here have ancient and modern sitting side by side. I sometimes wonder what citizens from centuries ago would have thought of glass and steel and concrete structures which are now their neighbours...
