I have to say it has far more attraction to me, your island that is, than the one I am currently writting about on my Wilful Walks. I like Canvey Island in Essex even though it is as rough as workmans language BUT, not sure if it can compete with PEI.
Little M - me too! And haven't I been seeing a lot of it lately from the seat of my bike, smelling the smells and hearing the sounds.
CJ - As Islands go, this is the best I have been on. I think Great Britain was better in our youth. There were still problems and more no doubt hidden from view but things like compassion and respect were there IIRC.
I am really enjoying your wistful walks down memory lane. Canvey Island... hmmm, Milk and Alcohol ;)
