Commuting

Roads are empty at 8:00am because the school kids are breaking up for summer holidays.

i always wish roads were created to be empty. or at least empty enough so i could get to where i want to be without getting stuck in the gridlock. wishful thinking.

Interesting that you documented this road, as though you had a premonition.

Transience - bumper to bumper in school term time! 11 miles of thumping the steering wheel and yelling obscenities at total strangers - no I won't miss that!

Finnegan - I take my camera every day but today was the first time I shot the road. Spooky I agree...

I too am a virgo...what makes you a PERFECT one? :)

Jordan - oh dear, where do I start! Virgo must be the toughest sign to be born under, our traits are unlike any others. I beat myself up for failure when really it was very nearly a resounding success - sound familiar?

I criticise everyone and everything for not achieving impossibly high standards, including myself of course - sound even more familiar?

Perhaps I should bow out with a whimper and say I strived for perfection and sulked when I didn't manage it...

your roads are way too clean, PV.

this whole order -- does it get boring?

i will never know, because i am in a country where drivers switch lanes faster than you can say fuckyou, and where the roads are ALWAYS bumpy. they make special shock absorbers for this side of the world.

Mussolini - it gets extremely boring. I long for potholes and bandits and excitement...

Your way sounds better by far! If I want adrenaline I have to leave the old Ford at home and ride the Yamaha.

bandits :) hahahaha :) that made me luagh. but it IS true. out here, you could get your watch stolen if you dangle your arm out your car window.

i'm a fan of cars, not really motorcycles. i LOVE the first generation toyota celica. or the sprinter. ooooh. i will never get to go past 80 here, though, because of the traffic.

my grandparents are going to london to visit our relatives. will sk them to take some pictures of your BORING streets :)

Mussolini - at least my watch is safe-ish here! I like older cars too but for me bikes are the bees knees!

Do show us the photos your grandparents take, lets see if I can identify the places they visit.
